Goal: Melding some urbanity with relaxation and access to the great outdoors.

In order to make this recently built well designed home in beautiful Boulder, a more modern vacation retreat, it was furnished with comfortable clean lined furniture and artwork, all with a slight edge so as not to leave the owners' urban selves totally behind.  Blacks, whites and neutrals provide a strong and welcoming contrast to the lush outdoors.This melding of city and country continued as a critical focus  was building out an office that could serve as a trade center, a meeting space and chill zone. The relax mentality, however, took over  stylishly in the design and furnishing of the pool and pool house.
